DiSC Dynamics: Reconnecting and Reinventing Team Interactions

We are thrilled to introduce a new workshop series for our Leadership Institute Alumni: DiSCover Leadership: Reconnecting and Reinventing Team Interactions, led by Mary Paramore. This engaging series is designed to deepen your understanding of the DiSC framework and its practical applications in the workplace while fostering meaningful connections with fellow alumni.

2025 Schedule of Events:

Each session is $30 per person.

  • Session 1: Reconnect and Introduction to DiSC Styles
    • Date: February 25, 2025
    • Time: 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. 
    • Location: Pitt Community College Eddie & Jo Allison Smith Student Advancement Center, Chris Smith Multipurpose Room
    • Objective: Revisit the foundational understanding of the four DiSC Styles (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, Conscientiousness), how they differ, and their unique characteristics in the workplace contexts.
  • Session 2: Providing and Receiving Feedback for Each DiSC Style
    • Date: Wednesday, April 30, 2025
    • Time: 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. 
    • Location: Pitt Community College Eddie & Jo Allison Smith Student Advancement Center, Chris Smith Multipurpose Room
    • Objective: Equip participants with tools to give and receive feedback tailored to each DiSC style, improving feedback effectiveness and fostering a supportive environment.
  • Session 3:Customer Service and Sales Strategies for Each DiSC Style 
    • Date: September 16, 2025
    • Time: 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. 
    • Location: TBD
    • Objective: Teach participants to recognize and adapt to different customer styles, allowing for more effective communication, service, and sales interactions. 
  • Session 4: Managing and Resolving Conflict Across DiSC Styles
    • Date: November 6, 2025
    • Time: 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. 
    • Location: TBD
    • Objective: Provide tools for identifying, managing, and resolving conflicts in a way that respects each DiSC style's approach to conflict and fosters constructive outcomes.
