Greenville’s medical center has nearly 3 million square feet dedicated to health care for all ages.
It is home to Vidant Medical Center, the flagship institution of Vidant Health. You’ll also find the Brody School of Medicine at ECU, along with the colleges of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences. The School of Dental Medicine is educating the next generation of dentists while delivering care to patients in Greenville and at Community Service Learning Centers in eight under served communities across the state.
Vidant Health is a regional health system serving 29 counties in eastern North Carolina working to improve the health of the 1.4 million people it serves. It includes Vidant Home Health and Hospice, Vidant Wellness Center and the Vidant Medical Group of physician practices. It is affiliated with the Brody School of Medicine at ECU.
Vidant Health currently owns or leases eight hospitals.
