Mike Houston, Head Football Coach
East Carolina University

Mike Houston is entering his fifth season as the head football coach at East Carolina University.  In 2022, Houston led the Pirates to an 8-5 season and a post-season win at the Birmingham Bowl, the Pirates first bowl victory since 2014.  ECU's eight wins were the most for the program since 2014.

ECU opens the season on September 2 at Michigan, the first-ever (football) meeting between the Pirates and Wolverines.  For a look at the complete 2023 schedule, click here.
