The Road Ahead: A Vision for Future Success
Dr. Steve Lassiter, Jr. was appointed the 17th superintendent of Pitt County Schools (PCS) on November 4, 2024.  Dr. Lassiter will discuss "The Road Ahead," a vision that outlines areas of focus for the school district, which is the 13th largest in North Carolina serving more than 24,000 students.  The Road Ahead identifies five succinct, defining pillars that are consistent with PCS's core values and will be used as a roadmap to provide guiding principles and help articulate the means to reach PCS's ultimate destination.
